When Ravenswood develops a project it strives to anticipate buyers needs not only when they are contemplating a purchase but months and even years after closing. At Whitney Park, Ravenswood included finished open staircases to the basements, with egress windows with walkout window wells, to allow buyers to finish off basements to code in the future -- a value not always apparent at point of purchase. |

 One of the first builders to plan and construct a condominium during the late 1990's, Ravenswood knew that well-located and well-priced condos would continue to be a wonderful choice for many buyers.  Surely, at Whitney Park we could have cut down trees, cleared out the center area, and turned the units around with the rear of the units facing the highway. It would have saved us lots of work, but it definitely would have made it a lot less appealing for future homeowners. Instead, residents have wonderful rear yards with a lot less noise. We also could have used painted wood fencing instead of high-quality PVC fencing, which would have cut back on our costs but would have left the Homeowner's Association with a maintenance nightmare. The point? - we build and plan our developments with thought not only for the moment but for buyers' future enjoyment. |
